Infant Massage Classes

Children who receive nurturing touch through therapeutic massage may:
- sleep more deeply and for longer periods
- spend more time in the calm, alert state, which is best for learning
- increase the connectivity and communication of neurons in the brain
- improve nonverbal and verbal communication skills

- improve their ability to calm and regulate

Parents and caregivers who provide therapeutic massage with their children typically experience:

In an infant massage class, you'll learn:
- massage strokes and touch relaxation
- bonding techniques and ways to recognize your baby's cues
- how to ask permission and how doing so builds respect
- how to choose the best oil
- how to identify the best time for massage and ways to work it into your daily life
