Make a difference by attending a Marcfirst event!

Marcfirst envisions a world where people with developmental disabilities have equal opportunities to choose their own path and make their own decisions. The support Marcfirst receives from individuals and businesses throughout Central Illinois allows us to continue to work toward making our vision a reality.

Marcfirst hosts several fundraising events each year to provide necessary funding for programs and services.

A D’Vine Affair for Marcfirst

The 10th Annual D'Vine Affair was held on Thursday, September 29th, 2022. Click here to see photos and learn more.

A D’Vine Affair was created in 2013 by Chef Troy and the team at Biaggi’s. He wanted to give back to the community and held the first event with 50 people. Over the last nine years, A D’Vine Affair has grown exponentially. In 2022, the event raised over $250,000 after expenses and welcomed 500 guests. That brings our total to well over half a million dollars in the past nine years.

The Doug Collins Marcfirst Golf Classic

Save the date: the 2023 Doug Collins Marcfirst Golf Classic will be held Monday, June 12th at Bloomington Country Club and will fetaure Doug Collins and special guest Chris Collins! An Evening with Doug & Chris Collins will be held Sunday, June 11th at DoubleTree by Hilton. The Marcfirst Golf Classic started in 2001 by former board member Charlie Farner and has been raising money for Marcfirst programs and services ever since. In 2022 ISU Legend Doug Collins took the event to the next level and helped us raise over $60,000 after expenses. That brings our total to over $500,000 in the past twenty+ years!

(Non-Event) Annual Appeal Letter

In addition to our fundraising events each year, Marcfirst mails an annual appeal letter at the end of the calendar year. The annual appeal highlights stories about people receiving services at Marcfirst while helping us raise money for the many programs and services we provide.
