About Marcfirst
Marcfirst has been providing services to the community since 1955. While we've grown, evolved, and changed (read all about our history here), we remain a one-stop-shop that provides support from birth to end of life and everything in between.
Our Pediatric Therapy Services are for all children and their families, whether a child is experiencing developmental delays or recovering from surgery. Starting from Early Intervention and spanning throughout childhood with Speech and Language Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and more, Marcfirst is there every step of the way. We also provide resources for the entire family such as PAL, ParentingFirst, Social Skills programs, and Sibshops.
Once a child ages out of our Pediatric Therapy, we offer young adult support through our Transition Program. This program offers IEP assistance, after-school and summer programs, and assistance transitioning from high school into the "real world."
As an adult, Marcfirst continues to provide care and support through various services and programs. Between supported living, supported employment, and community day services, the adults in our program are treated with dignity and respect, with independence as the ultimate goal.
Our Behavioral Health Clinic provides mental health supports throughout a lifetime, offering services for kids, teens, and adults both with and without developmental disabilities.
Marcfirst is not only the leading provider of Pediatric Therapy in McLean County, but we're also continuing to grow. In 2020, Marcfirst Pediatric Therapy moved to its new and improved home on the campus of Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Medical Office Building One. We will be taking over even more space in this building in 2022 to better meet the needs of children in our community. And, with over 175 employees, we're also a leading employer in our community.
Marcfirst Pediatric Therapy provides a wide variety of therapy services to meet the needs of you and your child. Services are based on your child's individual needs and are provided in a fun, learning-rich environment that enables your child to reach their full potential. Services are provided in individual and group sessions based on your child's needs. Our pediatric therapists receive extensive training in pediatrics and specialize in working with children from birth to age fourteen. All Marcfirst Pediatric therapists maintain State of Illinois Licensing and credentialing to enable them to provide the high quality of therapeutic care that Central Illinois has come to expect from our Pediatric Therapy program.About Pediatric Therapy
