Marc Making

The Marc Making program aims to create an inclusive and creative environment of collaboration through supporting individuals’ self-expression while participating in the Bloomington-Normal fine arts community and beyond.

"I try to visualize all kinds of stuff so I can do all kinds of drawings and paintings. I really enjoy this."

– Josh

Thank you to Iga Puchalska, Marc Making Coordinator and Jason Judd, University Galleries Curator for creating this fantastic video!

Since Spring 2017, Marc Making has partnered with University Galleries of Illinois State University so Marcfirst artists have the opportunity to create paintings, drawings, collages, and small sculptures through workshops at the Galleries.

Through this partnership with University Galleries, Marcfirst artists will have their artwork on display as one of three exhibits at University Galleries this summer. Marc Making: Artists of Marcfirst opened to the public on June 2 and will be on display until August 9.

Please contact University Galleries at 309.438.5487 or gallery@IllinoisState.edu to schedule a free curator-led tour for your class or community group.

Thank you to University Galleries and Illinois Prairie Community Foundation for this wonderful opportunity!
