Join our team at Marcfirst as a Temporary Transition Assistant this summer!
The Temporary Transition Assistant will be working in our School-to-Work Summer Program withhigh school students ages 16 to 22 with developmental disabilities who are interested in expanding their vocational and adaptive living skills. Students will have an opportunity to learn about transportation options, expand their social skills, tour local businesses, participate in community job shadowing experiences, and many other activities.
This temporary position will be a part-time 24-hour/week position from early June through early August. Must be available 8:30am-5pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays every week. The program will not run on July 4th. The School to Work Summer Program is comprised of a one week session held from June 12 to June 16 and a five week session held from June 26 to July 28.
