Residential Director QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional)

The Residential Director is responsible for the coordination and oversight of services for individuals with developmental disabilities that enhance the well-being, quality of life, opportunities, and achievement of personal outcomes. The Residential Director maintains an active presence in the home to ensure that the needs and choices of the individuals are being met. This role will coordinate with nursing, behavior analyst, and other professional staff to ensure the health and wellness of each individual is communicated, maintained, and documented. The Residential Director will communicate with the Illinois Department of Human Services and routinely review the home's safety, emergency preparedness, budgetary requirements, equipment needs, and staffing levels. This position serves as the immediate supervisor for the CILA's On-Site Supervisors and provides guidance to Direct Support Professionals. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service Field with at least one year of experience working directly with persons with developmental disabilities, a Valid Illinois Driver's License with a driving record in good standing, current Proof of Automobile Insurance and a successful background check. This position is full time and benefit eligible. Some evening and weekend availability will be required.
