Marcfirst is seeking a Receptionist/Human Resources Assistant to assist guests, employees, and clients of Marcfirst. The Receptionist/Human Resources Assistant will be a leader in first impressions and communications at Marcfirst. This position will greet guests and monitor incoming telephone calls, complete filing, maintain lobby area, and process the weekly deposit. Human Resources responsibilities include contacting applicants and coordinating their initial employment screening, completing monthly and annual background checks, and entering information in various databases and spreadsheets. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys working with the public.
This position is scheduled thirty hours per week and is benefit eligible. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Illinois Driver's License with a driving record in good standing, current proof of automobile insurance, and a successful background check.
