The Chief Operating Officer will supervise, manage and direct the personnel, training and Data management functions of the agency. The COO will provide leadership in the ongoing development of the agency’s data base systems including necessary program modifications, training and maintaining reporting mechanisms for performance and quality assurance indicators across the agency. In the absence of the Chief Executive Officer, the COO will provide necessary leadership in all program areas. The COO directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. The COO will assist the CEO as requested in planning, liaison, development, and marketing functions within and external to the agency.
A Bachelor’s Degree in management or a related field and two years’ experience in management is required. A Master’s degree is preferred. Applicants must possess a valid Illinois Driver's License with a driving record in good standing, current proof of automobile insurance, and a successful background check. This position is full-time and benefit eligible.
